Dopo la laurea in Architettura, conseguita presso l’Università degli studi di Firenze, Silvia Fanticelli inizia a lavorare presso lo studio Claudio Nardi Architects. Nel 2000 si trasferisce a Milano dove collabora per anni con lo studio Lissoni Associati, prima di intraprendere l’attività di libero professionista. Il suo ambito lavorativo spazia dall’interior design allo styling per showrooms, allestimenti temporanei e cataloghi, fino al product design, avendo come costante la continua ispirazione dal mondo dell’arte, in tutte le sue forme, e la cura del dettaglio. La curiosità verso culture lontane e la ricerca di nuovi materiali, textures e palette di colori le consentono di essere sempre aggiornata e al passo con i tempi pur essendo molto legata al mondo dell’ artigianalità e delle tradizionali tecniche di lavorazione.
After graduating in Architecture from the Università degli Studi in Florence, Tuscan-born Silvia Fanticelli worked with Claudio Nardi Architects. In 2000 she moved to Milan and spent several years at Piero Lissoni’s studio before setting up her own business in 2009. Her work ranges from interior design, styling and exhibition concept to product design and her strength is her close attention to art and the infinite ways in which it influences design. Curiosity about different cultures and constant research, whether it is regarding artists, exhibitions or other facets of the creative world, are key to Silvia’s work; it not only ensures she is always up to date with the colours, textures and mood of the times, but provides her with a constant source of inspiration.
